"When God Says No!"
I know that when we
pray we expect God to always say yes. But sometimes He may say No. We do not
understand those times that He says No, but we should always trust Him for
He knows what is best for us.
I read this passage
several times before I decided to share it. I soon realized that God was not
really all the time saying No. He was saying that
He has already blessed us with our inheritance as His children, but the
suffering and pain we may be going through is because we are not realizing
what He has already given to us.
God loves us and He
wants us to prosper and be in health. He wants the very best for all of His
children. When we cry, He cries. When we laugh, He laughs, When we are
happy, He is happy. When we are sad, He is sad. When we dance, He dances
with us.
For we are made in
His image. For we are His, and He cares for us.
When God Says "NO!"
I asked God to take away my bad habits. God Said, "No!" It is not for me to take away,
but, for you to be willing to give it up.
~~~~~~~~
I asked God to make my handicapped
child whole.
God said, "No!"
His spirit is whole, his body is only
temporary.
~~~~~~~~
I asked God to grant me
patience. God said, "No!"
Patience is a by product of
tribulations; it isn't granted it is learned.
~~~~~~~~
I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, "No!"
I
give you blessings from Heaven.
Happiness depends on how you use those blessings.
~~~~~~~~
I asked God to spare
me pain.
God said, "No!"
Suffering draws you
apart from worldly cares, and brings you closer to me.
~~~~~~~~
I asked God to make
my spirit grow in Him.
God said, "No!"
You must study to
show yourself approved, and commune with me daily, and as you are willing to
do this, you will grow in Me.
And daily I will
prune you and make your fruitful.
~~~~~~~~
I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.
God Said, "No!"
But I will give you life, so you may enjoy all things.
~~~~~~~~ I asked God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.
And to show me my faults that I might not find so many faults with others.
God said...."Ahhhh, finally you have the idea." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
