Ruby’s Bayou Sweet Potatoe Casserole
½ stick of butter
½ cup of milk
2- eggs beaten
1 – cup of white sugar
½ cup of brown sugar
1 – Teaspoon of Vanilla
3 – cups of mashed sweet Potatoes
1 – cup of pecans
Mix ingredients and place into a large buttered shallow baking dish
Sprinkle with topping
Recipe For Topping for Casserole
1 – cup of light brown sugar
1/3 – cup of butter soften
½ - cup of plain flour
1 – cup of chopped nuts
After you have casserole put together,
Place in oven and cook at 325 degrees until done.
Mix Flour with sugar and using fingers mix well. Add nuts and mix, and sprinkle
over casserole
