Devotion 21
"Be Thankful And Rejoice"
Coffee With Pat Sunday Morning, what a beautiful day in the Lord. Have a wonderful day today. Be blessed and remember, (Psalm 118:24) "This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad." We need to celebrate in the Lord always. There are so many ways we can celebrate the blessings and joys of the Lord. God has blessed us and we just need to open our eyes to the wonderful and mighty works of God. You may say, there are times I do not feel blessed. That is when you need to as God to give you the eyes to see how incredibly blessed you have been, and continue to be. You are alive and reading this devotion this morning. Praise God! God's gifts of our lives and our relationships and of Himself, is a blessings of joy. We continue to celebrate through our willingness to love, share and grow with others and with God. As we celebrate by opening our lives to the Lord and letting His Spirit fill our lives, we will soon be able to celebrate in the good times, as well as the valleys. Continue to celebrate Jesus, in the good times and in the bad time. Sing a love song to God. Confuse satan and make him keep him wondering why we are always praising God. Then he will soon get the message; that God is our hope and celebration, and we will continue to celebrate God no matter what." Pastor Pat Aman (Colossians 3: 15-17) "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. and be thankful. Let the word of Christ swell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." (Psalm 136: 1-3) "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is Good. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever. Let those who fear the Lord say; 'His Love endures forever.'" (1 Thessalonians 5: 18) "Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." (Ephesians 5:20) "Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ." (Psalm 147:7) Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; make music to our God on the Harp.: (Hebrews 13:15) Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise, the fruit of lips that confess His name. (1 Timothy 4:4) For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving.
