"Share Your Gift"
Coffee With Pat "God's Grace And Love, Saved You From The Pits Of Hell! Now Can You Say That There Is Someone Whom You Have Shared This Good News With, And Now They Are Not Bound For Hell Either? How Many Souls Are Lost Because You Did Not Share Your Gift With Them?" Pastor Pat Aman Again, I will say this year is flying by. There is only 198 days, till Thanksgiving, 230, until Christmas, and 237, until New Years. Now that means there so far there have been 130 chances for you to tell someone about Jesus. Remember I am talking to everyone, just not a Pastor, Evangelist, Missionary, and so on. If you are saved, you are a Disciple of Jesus Christ, and before He left this earth He commanded all of His disciples to "GO YE", and do this work of saving the lost should for Christ. Now if you have not lead one soul to Jesus Christ, I think you better get down on your knees and start praying for a renewal, a refreshing in your own life. Just like David said in (Psalm 51:12-13) "Restore to me the joy of Your salvation; and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You". You may be saying I cannot speak and witness to someone. That is NO EXCUSE, because there has been thousands of times that someone was lead to Christ by the actions of a sold out to Christian. You have 235 days left in this year to win many lost souls to Christ. Just think! If you won one soul, then there is two of you to win 2 more souls. Then there is 4 of you to win 4 more souls, then there is 8 of you to win 8 more souls, then 16 to win 16 souls, do you get it yet? By just winning one soul to the Lord, can add up to many of souls. GET BUSY! A lot of people do not witness because they are afraid of the questions someone may ask them. Read the scriptures below and it will help you answer these questions. Also go to "Coffee With Pat" web-site, and click on the Plan of Salvation. It will show you the verses you need to share and help you go through the steps needed to take to lead someone to Christ. 1. How do I know God want me to accept His gift of salvation? (Luke 15: 3-7) "Then Jesus told them this parable: "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.' I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." 2. Is salvation really a part of God's plan for my life? (1 Thessalonians 5:9) "For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ." 3. What does it mean to be spiritually reborn? (John 3: 1-7) "Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council. He came to Jesus at night and said, "Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him."In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!" Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.' 4. How do I know God will forgive me? (Psalm 103: 2-4) Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits-who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion." (John 1:9) "The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world." 5. How should I ask God for forgiveness? (Romans 10:8-13) "But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." 6. After I have accepted the gift of salvation, what kinds of things does God expect of me? ( Ephesians 4: 1-3) "I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called. With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." 7. Don't I need to straighten my life out and stop sinning before I can receive salvation? (Roman 5:8) "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
