![]() ![]() ![]() Matthew 6:33 (King James Version)
33But
seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all
these things shall be added unto you.
Well, as of
1:36 am, June 2nd, 2009, eastern standard time the hit count on
God's Site was 0000999643.
I give all praise an honor to God for allowing me to do His
Work.
I think since
I sent the note out to the private devotional group, Braveheart
Group and my Facebook group, people are actually hitting it more
so it will reach the one million mark within the next 24 hours.
But what
really amazes me is how God has let me use the computer to
touch so many lives.
If you divide
the count into the days and years, the site has received over
300 hits a day since 2002. Now I know that a lot are the same
people who go to the site to read the devotion each day, but
then it also includes new people who go to search engines and
are looking for a Word, or a Ray of Hope, and God leads them to
Coffee With Pat.
But still,
folks, Coffee With Pat (God's Site) has touched lives almost One
Million Times. That is more people than I could have touched by
preaching Revivals, Crusades and many other ways in that short
time.
See, God has
used the Internet to do His Work. Praise God! Friends, if you
are a willing vessel, God will use you to share the Gospel. You
may not have a church to go preach in every Sunday, or even
have people to promotion you, but you won't need those things
if you are sold out to God, and want to do His work, He will
make a way for you to do it, so do not give up. God will make a
way for you. You will not need anyone but God to help you,
because you will have the favor of God upon you.
I praise God
for His favor on the Coffee With Pat Ministry, and I give Him
all the glory and honor for what He has allowed me to do through
the internet.
I started
Coffee With Pat in 1996 sending out personal devotions to a
chosen few people. In a short time people would send me their
e-mail addresses, asking me to add them to the list to receive
the devotions, because someone who was on the devotion list had
told them about the daily devotions.
Soon, I told
my husband that I needed some other way to get God's Word out to
the public, so he informed me that our internet carrier had a
personal web-site builder, and he felt I needed to check it out,
and so I did, and that is how I soon had a Devotional Site.
That was in
2002. I played around with the site builder and built my first
web site. As our service provider changed, I again built a site
later with Earthlink, and boy, did the devotional site really
take off, because the internet provider put it on the search
engines, so this is when it really became a full time ministry
job.
It became so
big that it outgrew the Earthlink personal web builder, and
friends of mine in Louisiana mentioned that I really needed to
get a Web-Host Service Provider.
I thought that
would be too expensive, so I just kept on a few weeks with my
Earthlink site, which was not big enough to handle the
response. I prayed over this situation and then my friends from
Louisiana, Bob and Carol Weaver, called me and said, God had
laid on their heart to pay for my beginning service, and boy was
I excited. But soon after they set me up with the new Web-Host I
realized I knew nothing about building a real web-site, and so I
e-mailed the Web-host, that they had set me up with, and asked
them what I needed to do, because now I have a host, and do not
know what to do with it.
See, Earthlink
web builder was so easy. It was just fill in the blank, easy add
pictures, and anyone could do that, even me.
But now I
realized that I had something bigger than me here, and I needed
personal help. I needed a divine intervention.
Anyway, Brent
from Webnet77 said he would give me the e-mail, name and
address of a wonderful lady, Dot McEntire. He told me she may be
able to give me some pointers because she builds web-sites.
Anyway, to go
on with this story, I contacted Dot, and told her what I needed,
and that I had found out fast I knew nothing about building a
real web-site. The next words out of her mouth were, "do not
worry, God has told me to build you a site as a love offering
and gift to God and you."
Friends, this
lady did not know me from a hole in a wall. We had never met.
See what God will do when you are willing, and let Him take care
of your problems. He will make a way in the wilderness for you,
if you let
Him!
Well, folks,
in 2006, Dot built what you see now each day, The Coffee With
Pat Web-Site, with devotions for everyone, and even a Recipe
Site and Pet Site, all build by Dot McEntire.
She also built
my friend, Missionary Rose Boyd's Site as a love offering to
God. You may visit Operation Teaching Tools at:
Friends, all I
do is add the pictures and words to the devotions. Dot McEntire
continues to do all the graphics.
Now, if you
received the devotionals via e-mail, I have people whom send me
stationary they make for me all along. I thank Lynne Melby, who
sends me graphics, and her friend, and now mine, Meme's
Graphics, who designs the stationary pages that make your
devotions look good.
Praise God,
because of the good looking graphics, maybe you do not notice my
bad grammar so much. LOL
Friends, the
entire Glory goes to God. He has been so good to Joe and
myself. He has allowed and helped us to expand the Ministry. He
bought people into our lives to help us share His Word with the
World.
So today, give
your life and your situations to God, and watch Him do a great
work in your lives. He is a God of Miracles.
