Today, we will be finishing up the study on Joshua. I hope
that this study has helped you to realize how important it is to Study God's
Word, and have a daily prayer life.
Joshua 1:7-8 7. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8. Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. We can grow in godliness through knowing and applying God's Word to our lives daily. But simply knowing God's Word is not enough . We must know God's Word well enough to apply it to life's situations. God promises that this kind of faithfulness to His Word will result in a successful and prosperous life. We need to practice regularly Scriptures memorization and meditation. Then be determine beforehand to put it into practice. This promises sure success. Establish memorials in your spiritual journey. Keep a record of your experiences with God. Share these to instruct and encourage others. Know that the key to spiritual victory is not only knowing the Scriptures, but living them. See satan knew the Word and God and was an is able to quote it. But he is also scared of the Word of God, when it is quoted by a child of God. It puts fear in him and he has to depart from you. Remember, Jesus, used the Word of God in the wilderness to defeat satan. Jesus would say, "It Is Written", and the devil had to flee. Incorporate regular Scripture reading as a part of personal and corporate worship.
