Good Morning Team,

I pray that God will use these devotions to help in your spiritual growth.

As Christians we should know God's ways. God's judgments should never be a complete surprise because we already know what His standards are.  His Word (both the Scriptures and also as incarnate in the Lord, Jesus Christ) will announce beforehand any judgment to give His people ample opportunity to repent, and turn from their sin.

The rebellious and disobedient among God's people tend to actively discourage godly and righteous  behavior on the part of others. God says He will bring severe judgment against these. God wants us to do all we can to encourage His people to seek Him and obey Him.

The wise person does not depend on past achievement of spiritual experience to guarantee success in the future. Nor is he idle and self-indulgent  today. God rejects both complacency and self-indulgence.

2 Timothy 2:15
15. "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."

Understand that God sent calamity to turn the people back to Him.

Understand that God never does anything He has not announced beforehand through His prophets. Develop and ear to hear what the spirit is saying through the prophets to the churches. Know that God judges everyone equally by the standards of His Word and by the life of Jesus Christ.

Understand that ignorance of God's Word leads to believing lies. Know that empty traditions tend to transmit deception.  Do not discourage godliness, nor put roadblocks in the way of those who pursue godliness and truth. Allow the full expression of the prophetic ministry so that god's people can be warned. Encourage the straight-forward preaching of God's Word. Hunger and thirst for the Word of God while it is available.

 Acts 2: 17-18

17." 'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

18.Even on my servants, both men and women,  I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

Be zealous for the things of God. Reject any attitude of spiritual elitism.

Exercise control in your appetites. Practice temperance in all things. Be unselfish. Let Christ's zeal and selfless love characterize your life.

2 Timothy 6; 12
12. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Joyfully, In The Master's Service,
Blessings, Prayers, and Love
