"Angels"

How was everyone's weekend? We had a real good one here. I ask God to bless
you and your family with a wonderful week.
I was asked a questions about Angels, so I am going to share some verses and thoughts that I hope will help you.
Please get your Bible down and follow up on all of these scriptures. See what your notes in your Bible says about Angels.
After the verses I will share a story about a Angel that has just protected my mama and my sister from a dangerous fire.
"Thank you God, that You care enough about me to send a guardian Angel to watch over me and my family.

Marilyn Hickey says, In her book, "The Ministry of Angels"
"The unseen realm is constantly described in the Bible as immediately present in our midst, not as a distant reality but as a present one. Angels are not occasionally present in Bible; they are constantly manifest! the word "angel" occurs over 250 times in the pages of God's eternal revelation of the Scriptures, not only describing things they have done but unfolding things they are assigned to do in our day, as well as in the past." In Marilyn's book she brings the force of these invisible servants and warriors to bear upon our present day.
(Hebrews 1:14)
14. "Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who's will inherit salvation.?"
The answer from the Bible is "Yes", and that means their ministry applies to us, today.
1. Fivefold Ministry of Angels.
Angels exist to serve God in at least these five ways.
(Psalm 103:20-21)
20. Praise the LORD, you his angels,
you mighty ones who do his bidding,
who obey his word.
21. Praise the LORD, all his heavenly hosts,
you his servants who do his will.
Marilyn Hickey says, In her book, "The Ministry of Angels"

2. Variety in the Appearance of Angels.
Angel appear in different forms, depending upon their order of creation.
(Judges 13:6)
6. Then the woman went to her husband and told him, "A man of God came to me. He looked like an angel of God, very awesome. I didn't ask him where he came from, and he didn't tell me his name.
3. Organized Structure in the Angelic Realm.
Angels are a structured society with different levels of authority, according to God's creative order.
(Colossians 1:16)
16. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
4. Angels' Influence over Nations.
Some angel have influence over nations and national issues.
(Daniel 10:13)
13. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia.
5. Angels as Messengers.
Angels are still active in building God's kingdom on Earth through messages.
(Acts 8:26)
26. Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, "Go south to the road—the desert road—that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza."
6. Guardian Angels Watch Over Us.
Each believer has his own guardian angel.
(Psalm 91: 11-12)
11. For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12. they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
7. the angel of the Lord Receives Worship.
the Lord God is referred to as the "Angel of the Lord" and therefore receives worship.
(Exodus 3: 2-4)
2. There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up.
3. So Moses thought, "I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up."
4. When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, "Moses! Moses!"
And Moses said, "Here I am."
8. Jesus and Angels.
Jesus is closely associated with angels at birth, the forth-day fast, His agony on the night of His betrayal, the Resurrection, the Ascension, and His Second Coming.
(Revelations 1:1)
1.The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John.
My sister has a huge fireplace in which she uses gas logs. On each side of the fireplace is two large glass windows.
Ruby said that, "Several times when she walked into the room where the fireplace is located, she noticed there was a man outside of the window that looked like he was dressed in a fireman's uniform." She has so often seen Angels that have ministered to her through the years, that she really did not pay attention.
This went on for a couple of weeks. Then she thought she smelled gas. When the gas company checked it out a few weeks before they could not find anything.
Then this Angel started appearing. Ruby again "told the gas company that she was smelling gas. She also thought that she had used a lot of gas this year. More than usual."
Well, the gas company came back and checked. They found a broken gas line right out side of the window. Right by the window where my mama sits.
They said it was a wonder that they had not already had an explosion and fire.
WOW! The Grace and Mercy of God was shown on them again.
See God sent that Angel to watch over them and protect them until someone would come and realized that they did have a gas leak.
And can you believe it? The Angel was dressed like a Fireman.
Do I believe in Angels? You bet!.
God's Word says it, and that settles it."
(Nehemiah 8:10)
