Devotion 6
I thank God today
for all His blessings. I do praise Him today, in up-lifted hands, and songs.
For He is my redeemer and my hope.
I know that
sometimes it is hard to say those words. It is hard to pray and mostly praise
God for what He has done for us.
Each of us I know
have troubles, problems and things that cause us to weep with tears.
But, to know that
our Heavenly Father is waiting with open arms, for us to run to, should be all
that we need.
God is always
there for us and He is never to busy.
Philippians 4:
4-7, "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness
be know to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in
everything by prayer and supplication, be made known to
God."
Whatever we need,
God is always waiting on us to talk to Him. A friend sent me the prayer below.
Read it and know that when everyone else seems they do not care. When you feel
lonely and in despair, God is always there.
You do not have to
use fancy words. Just empty your heart to Him. He
understands.
Hello God,
I called tonight
To talk a little while
I need a friend who'll listen
To my anxiety and trial.
You see, I can't quite make it
Through a day just on my own...
I need your love to guide me,
So I'll never feel alone.
I want to ask you please to keep
My family safe and sound.
Come and fill their lives with confidence
For whatever fate they're bound.
Give me faith, dear God, to face
Each hour throughout the day,
And not to worry over things
I can't change in any way.
I thank you God for being home
And listening to my call,
For giving me such good advice
When I stumble and fall.
Your number, God, is the only one
That answers every time.
I never get a busy signal,
Never had to pay a dime.
So thank you, God, for listening
To my troubles and my sorrow.
Good night, God, I love You too,
And I'll call again tomorrow!
