"A Housewife's Prayer"
I hope that you were blessed with a laugh, or a smile, as you read the Crawfish Story last night. Would you believe that my sister Ruby took us to eat Chinese tonight. They had boiled crawfish on the bar. Joe ate a couple, but I did not eat any of them. I did peel one for him, but they were real buttery, not the same. He did not go back for more, so I think, he also thought that they were not as good. Whatever you are doing today, make sure you are smiling big on the outside, even though you feel like crying on the inside. You do remember that satan cannot read your mind. He only knows what you speak. So do not give him any ideas, he has enough of his own. --Pastor Pat Aman
"A Housewife's Prayer" Written By: M.K.H.
Lord, as I do all these pots and pans and things, since I've no time
to be.
Or dreaming in the dawn light, or storming Heaven's Gates.
Although, I must have Martha's hands, I have a Mary mind;
I think of how they trod the earth, what time I scrub the floor;
Warm all the kitchen with Thy love, and light it with Thy peace.
Thou who didst love to give men food, in room, or by the sea.
Matthew 25:31-40 (New International Version) 31."When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34. "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36. I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' 37. "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38. When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39. When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' 40. "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' I know that if we do our work with a heart of love, we are doing it unto Christ. Let our family and friends see the love of Jesus in our lives. Pastor Pat Aman Joyfully, In The Master's
