"God Is Always With Us, In The Mist Of The Storm."

Isaiah 43:1-2

1But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

2When thou passes through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walks through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Isaiah 40: 28 - 31

28Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faintest not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

29He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength.

30Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Today we had high winds and rain. At one time I looked outside and saw the most amazing sky. The clouds were dark, but the sun was trying to shine through, and there was the most beautiful rainbow I have seen in a long time.

I wish I could have gotten a picture of the entire rainbow, because it went all the way to the left side of the clouds, and on the right side it was a double rainbow.

But the wind was blowing so bad, and it was beginning to rain, that I had to hurry in the yard to take this picture, and then rush back inside.

As I went back inside the house, I looked at the picture and thought of God's love, mercy and grace.

Sometimes in life things can be black as can be, like the clouds and you think you cannot go on. The all of a sudden, you see the sun, (SON) shining through the darkest cloud. The cloud begins to light up, and then you begin to see God during a work in your life. All of a sudden you feel strength to your body and soul.

Then to top it all off, God sends you a rainbow. Then you know that everything is going to be okay. You know that He has everything under control.

God promises that when He will always be with us no matter what we face or go through.

Please know if you feel like you are alone, you are not. God is there, walking each step with you, and when you cannot walk, He picks you up and carries you.
